Founded in 1945 by Lucien and Jean Lesage in Montréal-East, Québec, Giant is currently the only water heater manufacturer operating in Canada. Originally starting after the opening of a small electric iron repair shop on Sainte-Catherine Street, the family-owned company now operates two factories equipped with state-of-the-art machinery in Montreal. Their end markets are largely supported by Canada's renewable, hydro-sourced energy grids.
