Park Place Lakeside is part of the Armour Group’s Park Place Corporate Campus – the HRM’s largest suburban office complex – and is a LEED targeted building retrofitted in 2010.
- Two Lochinvar SYNC SBN1500 fully condensing natural gas-fired boilers supplying 3 million BTU’s to the primary heating system. The boilers are controlled in a cascade arrangement using the Lochinvar SMART System control technology and are capable of a total plant turn down of 20:1.
- Two SA Armstrong 4380 IVS Sensorless variable speed pumps supply the primary heating loop. These pumps use an integrated variable speed drive that responds to a change in the motor current load and varies the pump operating point without the use of external pressure sensors installed in the system like a traditional variable speed pump.
- The remaining boiler circulators, glycol loop circulators and heat exchanger, as well as hydronic air elimination accessories were supplied by SA Armstrong Ltd as well.
