40 Highfield Park Dr was built in 2009, the building office space is shared by companies such as Lockheed Martin and Stantec Consulting. Primary heat and cooling source for the building is air-to-water heat pumps with a condensing boiler back up for the heating season.
- Two Lochinvar Knight XL KBN500 fully condensing boilers supply up to 1 million BTU boost to the system as required in the heating season.
- Energy is exchanged in the system using an 8 million BTU capacity S.A. Armstrong Ltd S-106 Series plate and frame heat exchanger.
- Each side of the plate and frame heat exchanger are supplied by S.A. Armstrong Ltd 4300 8x8x10 vertical inline pumps. Each pump is fitted with a 40hp variable speed motor and capable of supplying up to 1,800GPM based on system demand.
