Four fully condensing Lochinvar Knight XL KBN-500 (500,000 BTU/hr each) natural gas boilers were installed to replace existing New Yorker oil-fired boilers in a high temperature heating system. The four boilers are connected in a cascade for outdoor reset, lead/lag and 20:1 turndown (full plant, 5:1 per boiler). The photos below are before and after the Knight retrofit, these shots speak for themselves.
