Incorporating the very latest in commercial heating technology, the Cobalt Boiler System and the 88c and 80c boilers are the result of years of successful customized product implementation.
Utilizing the proven design of the Weil-McLain Model 80, the new Model 80c boiler has been repackaged and improved to deliver combustion efficiencies of 85.1% with Gross Outputs of 277 MBH to 1,327 MBH.
The new Model 88c features combustion efficiencies of 85.9%, a modular jacket design to ensure easy access and maximum serviceability, as well as new clean-out plates. In addition, Weil-McLain also provides thermal shock protection when the boiler is piped primary/secondary.
The Model 88c also features an effective heat exchange surface area that exceeds most competitive 3-pass designs, and has additional insulation upgrades that equate up to 4″ of conventional insulation, which results in performance improvements and operational savings. In addition, each Model 88c boiler uses a burner that is custom-matched to the unit, ensuring optimum control, and maximum performance and efficiency.
